ABSTRACT

Oligoasthenozoospermia is the main cause of male infertility, with complex and diverse causes. Currently, there are still some unclear causes of oligoasthenozoospermia in clinical practice, known as idiopathic oligoasthenozoospermia. With the development of high-throughput sequencing technology, it has been found that intestinal microbiota disorder may be an important promoting factor for the onset of oligoasthenozoospermia. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that "deficiency of kidney essence" is the core pathogenesis of oligoasthenozoospermia. In clinical practice, the method of tonifying the kidney and strengthening the essence has a significant therapeutic effect on oligoasthenozoospermia, but its mechanism of action has not been fully elucidated. Based on the basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine and molecular biology research, it has been found that there is a similarity between "kidney essence" and intestinal microbiota. During the onset of oligoasthenozoospermia, the disorder of intestinal microbiota has similarities with the pathogenesis of "deficiency of kidney essence" in traditional Chinese medicine. Moreover, traditional Chinese medicine for tonifying the kidney and strengthening the essence can regulate the disorder of intestinal microbiota, which may be one of the effective mechanisms for the treatment of oligoasthenozoospermia with the Bushen Yijing method. Based on this, this article explored the mechanism of Bushen Yijing method of traditional Chinese medicine in treating oligoasthenozoospermia from the perspective of intestinal microbiota, so as to provide new ideas for the treatment of oligoasthenozoospermia with traditional Chinese medicine.

ABSTRACT

With the process of urbanization and population aging in China, the burden of cardiovascular disease and the incidence of coronary heart disease among postmenopausal women have greatly increased. Studies have found that the incidence of coronary heart disease in postmenopausal women is closely related to the level of estrogen, but there are still difficulties of low efficiency and large side effects in current therapies. Kidney deficiency has a strong correlation with reproductive development and overall function. The clinical manifestations and characteristics of postmenopausal coronary heart disease patients conform to the pathogenesis of kidney deficiency in traditional Chinese medicine. The kidney-invigorating method has a good efficacy in treating postmenopausal coronary heart disease patients. This paper summarizes clinical and pharmacological evidences, expounds the relationship between kidney deficiency and the level of estrogen, and the pathological mechanism of the kidney-tonifying method in the treatment of coronary heart disease, and defines the clinical efficacy and advantages of the kidney-tonifying method. The method may become an effective method to prevent and treat postmenopausal coronary heart disease, and is expected to benefit patients with coronary heart disease better.

ABSTRACT

[Objective]To discuss the clinical experiences and unique views of Professor XIA Guicheng, a master of Chinese medicine in treating adenomyosis dysmenorrhea. [Method] To analyze the understanding of professor XIA Guicheng about the pathogenesis of adenomyosis dysmenorrhea. To sum up the clinical experiences in treating adenomyosis dysmenorrhea according to the kidney to adjust the cycle. [Result]For adenomyosis dysmenorrhea, XIA believes that the pathogenesis of this disease is the key virtual reality. The virtual refers to the deficiency of kidney-yang which is the root of its occurrence. The subject refers to the blood stasis which is its pathological basis. The deficiency of kidney-yang losses of warm effect, leading to stagnation of Qi and blood stasis for dysmenorrhea. According to the principle ofJi ze zhi biao, huan ze zhi ben, when the dysmenorrhea attacks severely, we should control the pain from the standard treatment, mainly including relieving spasm and pain ,warming Yang wet and tranquilizing mind. We ought to value the root cause in normal time, that is the kidney to adjust the cycle. In particular, we pay attention to the inter ovulation period of warming kidney to help Yang, and the patient's daily life, emotional diet. [Conclusion] Professor XIA Guicheng 's experience in treating adenomyosis dysmenorrhea is worth to spread.
